The 13th Congress of Audiometry was held
The 13th Congress of Audiometry was opened by Prof. Peyvandi, university chancellor, on May 6, 2014. He, in the opening ceremony, highlighted the important role of such congresses in scientific advancement of medical majors and stated that we will not be able to solve the existing health problems in the country if we do not update our knowledge.
Nowadays, congresses provide an opportunity to update knowledge, share and exchange scientific experience. This congress, despite all difficulties in the last 12 rounds, has also been able to provide an appropriate condition for scientists of this major to gather together to serve the aforementioned purpose.
He also pointed out to the major of audiometry which was initiated in SBMU 40 years ago, and now a large number of students in different levels of education including undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD are studying in this major in SBMU.
